Prices set by makers
Every quote comes from the workshop. We add our margin on top rather than negotiating theirs down.
Paid before dispatch
Half at order, half at completion. Craft households cannot carry the cost of our cash flow.
Named on the label
Cluster, technique and time taken are printed on every tag. If we cannot verify it, we do not sell it.
What we do not do
No screen-printed imitations of block print, no machine embroidery sold as hand work, no "ethnic" styling of crafts that were never decorative to begin with. When a technique cannot be made at the volume we are asked for, we simply run out.
